Granny Annies have 3 restaurants located in Northern Ireland, one in Belfast, Londonderry and Enniskillen. They offer a range of seasonal, freshly prepared food using local produce sourced throughout the island. Granny Annies serve alcohol and have a comprehensive wine list as well as classic and signature cocktails.
They have a unique setting with old style furniture and decor on the walls as well as furniture hanging from the roof! It's quirky and definitely somewhere you will remember as it is different to any other restaurant. There is live music playing seven days a week which is great entertainment whilst eating. A traditional band starts playing at 12 noon on Fridays followed by more traditional and modern music over the weekend. You are welcome to stay and enjoy drinks and cocktails after you finish eating as there is a bar and space to dance. Granny Annies is suitable for all ages to eat including children as they offer a kid's menu. The bar will attract a younger crowd at night time who go out for drinks and enjoy the music.

Granny Annies also have an outside area where there are picnic tables to sit at as shown in the picture below. This is a great area to eat or drink in the summer time which has an energetic buzz about it. Even at other times of the year this outdoor space is used for the night life in Granny Annies.
The opening times of Granny Annies are 12pm - 11pm from Sunday to Wednesday and then from Thursday to Saturday the opening hours are extended from 12pm-1am.
From my experience, the food was delicious! I got the chicken curry with half rice and half chips as I couldn't pick just one. The food came out quickly and was a perfect temperature. The service was brilliant and the staff were so pleasant. The waiting time for our meal was not long at all however it is advised to book a table in advance as the restaurant is well-known and busy, you don't want to be disappointed with a queue outside!
