Hollie Berrie At The Tea Rooms

Another one of my favourite places to eat out is Hollie Berrie At The Tea Rooms. This is a cafe located in Scarva beside the Newry to Portadown towpath. The cafe has a cosy space inside and also a number of tables outside. They have a breakfast menu and lunch menu offering a variety of food including pancakes, sandwiches, soup, burgers, french toast, chicken dishes and much more! 

Hollie Berries is open from 8am - 5pm from Tuesday to Friday and open from 8am - 4pm on Saturdays. They are closed on Sunday and Monday for a well-earned break!

This eye catching food would make your mouth water! The portion sizes definitely make it worth the money you will not leave feeling hungry. 

It’s a hard choice deciding what to get from this cafe especially if you get the pancakes as there are so many options for toppings. You can choose sweet or savoury and Hollie Berrie have different pancake specials each week.

I have visited Hollie Berries a number of times and have tried their toasties and pancakes. I usually choose the pancakes as they are amazing! They are so soft and fluffy and are served warm. They are so filling and perfect for breakfast or lunch. I like that there is a range of toppings to choose from but my favourite is strawberries with nutella. 

Hollie Berrie are famous for their delicious desserts which can also be bought from a little trailer outside the cafe to save going inside. The desserts they offer include brownies, cookie pies, crispie buns, cakes and much more. Browse through some of their desserts below.

As shown above the desserts are incredible! There is a wide variety of freshly made desserts every day of the week. If you are too full after your food but still want a dessert the kind staff will give you a dessert in a takeaway box or you can purchase a dessert from Little Lottie's. With it being such a hard choice deciding which dessert to choose it is a good idea to buy a few different desserts to share with others. By doing this you get to try a few different things and still get a good chunk as all of the desserts are big.

Hollie Berrie At The Tea Rooms is a lovely place to relax. It’s location is perfect as many walkers on the towpath call in to the cafe for some treats. It has a peaceful surrounding and the staff are so helpful.
